The Ozarks Food Harvest Mobile Food Pantry brings truckloads of food and supplies directly to families in need across 28 counties. Community Outreach coordinated with the Mobile Food Pantry to bring food to 150 Vernon County families four times in 2012. More deliveries are planned for 2013. On election day, one of the trucks arrived in Nevada loaded with 14 pallets of food. W.F. Norman Corporation employees unloaded the truck and stayed to help. Local volunteers sorted food, filled shopping carts and directed traffic while a group from Heartland Hospital loaded food into the recipient's vehicles. Our thanks go to the Nevada Police Department, W. F. Norman, Heartland Hospital and all the other volunteers.
